Sweet Hoisin Meatballs {paleo friendly + gluten free}

Oh hello, you delicious balls of meat. Yes yous, all covered in a sweetness and sticky sauce that simply makes me keep coming back for more. I really want you lot in my life right now.

I've been wanting to create a meatball recipe that would be both paleo-friendly and gluten-free. Most meatball recipes employ breadcrumbs to aid demark the meat together so I had to look for an culling.

The result here is perfect. The meatballs are tender, hold together well, and take tons of flavour.

I've used almond flour in this recipe instead of breadcrumbs and dearest the upshot. Unlike coconut flour, which I find gives a sawdust texture to everything information technology comes in contact with, almond flour behaves a little more similar breadcrumbs.

A big bonus is that almond flour, which is really just basis up almonds, adds a subtle tasty season to the meatballs.

If you like to consume paleo or attempt to avert gluten, then you'll probably already know that most shop-bought hoisin sauces do comprise wheat. If this is something you strictly avert, and so y'all can always make your ain wheat-complimentary hoisin sauce. At that place are several recipes on the internet, just I like this one.
